Let's Talk Summertime Blues......

Summertime brings a feeling of bittersweet for many of us and how

fast time flies.

I am reminded how at the beginning of the summer it seems like

time slowly creeps like molassass on a cold day. Then as days pass,

we cannot believe that it is ending. The days are bittersweet for

us lately. Our oldest son bought his first car, our

daughter graduated from culinary school, our next oldest daughter

graduates next year and and our next oldest son turned fifteen.

Fifteen!!  We have five kids left to graduate from school,

As much as I say I will stop and enjoy the time, I will,

but it will go by faster than it started.  I will have memories

that will carry us. Then pass those onto our kids. And the cycle

continues.

AS mom we sit and think about all the time we have left with

our kids, how we feel like they are going to be small forever, the

mundane routine we become for our babies and toddlers, then teens

and their budding social lives.

Then suddenly, we wake up one day and realize they are

nearly grown and have thoughts, opinions, and feelings of their own.

We wonder where the time went and how did it happen

But alas!

Relax. Breathe. This is the sweet part. Keep reading...

They are still your babies, They always will be.

Just in a different form.

Be still and continue to be their mom.

Be still and conrunue to be their dad.

Be still and continue to listen.

Be still and Just BE for them.

Here is a diffuser recipe that will help you keep those

sweet summertime feelings alive. Or whenever you need a boost.

4 drops of Lime

3 drops of Lavendar

1 drop Roselmary

1 drop Eucalyptus

You can diffuse or mix with a carrier oil and roll on.

Disclaimer:

As always, do not use on, or around babies, pets or pregnant mommies, or ingest oils. Always do your research on what is safe for them and a patch test with a carrier oil to ensure no allergic reaction.
